Hello. Welcome to my world of wandering words.
My name is Tim Lasiuta, and my work has appeared in True West Magazine, Mad For Kids, Illustration Magazine, Wildest Westerns, and The Old Cowboy Picture Show. I have written biographies of Tom Gill, Joe Sinnott, a book on Collecting Western Memorabalia, contributed to TOCPS, and contributed fiction pieces to Moonstone Books Zorro/Captain Midnight/Green Hornet anthologies. My first published western comic story appeared in Western Classics from Graphic Classics (Hopalong Cassidy), and an upcoming Nosferatu adaptation is due in October of 2014.
I am active locally, writing commentaries on environmental, health, and historical issues. For nearly 15 years, I have reviewed books, comic books, and movies for Amazon (Top 2000 reviewer), Happy Harbor Comics, Suite 101, and Penguin Comics.
On the editing end, I work with Moonstone Books on the New Original Line, as well as researching copyrights and characters. I have also helped edit "Acts of the Spirit".
While I am a busy (mad like a hatter) writer, I have a marvelous family of four kids and dedicated wife of 27 years. Despite all my credits, my kids still consider me cool and consider it quite normal to get calls from all over North America regarding the 'funnies'.
I work with MoCCA (Museum of Comic and Cartoon Art) as a board member, as well as with Henagers Museum on an upcoming Roy Rogers Centennial Celebration.
